"Make sure you drain you diced tomatoes and green chilies well or this will be too wet. I place mine in a sieve and let them drain while the dough is being prepared and proofing."

Step 1

Place the ground beef in a skillet and add the taco seasoning and water; cook until liquid is totally reduced and set aside.

Step 2

When dough is ready to be topped, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3

Mix the drained tomatoes and chilies with the chili powder and spread over the dough and top with pepperoni.

Step 4

Sprinkle the cheese over the pepperoni and tomato mixture and add the ground beef, hot peppers, onion and hot pepper flakes.

Step 5

Place in oven and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, until bottom of crust is golden brown.

Step 6

Remove from oven and allow to cool 5 minutes.

Step 7

Remove from pan, top with lettuce and slice.

I didn't add the pepperoni, but did add black olives and onion. I used shredded Mexican cheese instead of Cheddar, and we liked this pizza with those changes!
