Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Pizza dough (for a 12 to 13 inch pizza
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 envelope (35 gram) taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (14 ounce) diced tomatoes (with green chilies, well drained)
  • 2 ounces pepperoni (slices)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 ounces sliced hot pickled peppers
  • 1 ounce yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 ounce lettuce, thinly sliced
  • Hot pepper flakes, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the ground beef in a skillet and add the taco seasoning and water; cook until liquid is totally reduced and set aside.

  • Step 2: When dough is ready to be topped, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 3: Mix the drained tomatoes and chilies with the chili powder and spread over the dough and top with pepperoni.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle the cheese over the pepperoni and tomato mixture and add the ground beef, hot peppers, onion and hot pepper flakes.

  • Step 5: Place in oven and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, until bottom of crust is golden brown.

  • Step 6: Remove from oven and allow to cool 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: Remove from pan, top with lettuce and slice.

  • Step 8: Enjoy.
