  • For best results, use fresh, high-quality salmon fillets.
  • Be sure to use fire-roasted capsicum for the jalapeno salsa.

  • Substitute the canned and fire roasted capsicum with roasted red peppers for a sweeter flavor and a more vibrant color. The benefit of this substitution is that it adds a subtle sweetness to the jalapeno salsa that pairs perfectly with the smoky spices in the salmon skewers.
  • Substitute the chilli powder with cayenne pepper for a spicier flavor. The benefit of this substitution is that it adds a more intense heat to the spice mix, which will give the salmon skewers a more flavorful kick.

Lemon Dill Skewers Replace the limes with lemons, and the spices in the spice mix with 2 tablespoons of fresh dill and 1 teaspoon of lemon zest. Omit the jalapeno salsa and garnish with fresh dill instead of coriander.
