"These meatballs have oatmeal in them. They taste wonderful. It extends the meat with a healthy grain. I added the gravy mix to this because I use cheap French onion soup mix. If your French onion soup mix is beefy you don't need to add the gravy. You just want good flavor in your brown gravy.this is a little salty to me,so be aware but not to rudy who loves this"

This is one of those super comfy dishes! Used Knorr French Onion Soup mix which is a good flavored, good quality brand. I did though add more beefy taste by adding some Demi-glace and a bit of bouillon. Went so good with mashed potatoes and we enjoyed it very much. I will though add more flavor to the meatballs next time, as they were a wee-bit bland, but super moist. Thank you, Dienia, for sharing. Made it for Only the Lonely and Pick Me tag games.
