Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large stockpot, fry onion, peppers, garlic in olive oil until soft and clear.

Step 2

Add the sausage out of the casing and cook till completely browned.

Step 3

Add to crockpot that has been sprayed with non stick spray (Pam).

Step 4

Add mushrooms, tomatoes, seasonings to taste and parsley to the crockpot or stockpot.

Step 5

Simmer on low for 3 hours, or cook low for 8 hours in crockpot stirring occasionally.
