"This recipe was found in " Great American Favorite Brand Name Recipes " Cookbook. If you like your brownies moist and gooey, I guarantee your going to like this one.I knew I shouldn't have tasted the raw batter(you know why,the raw egg deal)but I did anyway,and found it needed vanilla.The original recipe didn't call for it. Also the original recipe used sour cream,but I subbed vanilla yogurt.The cooling time for the brownies aren't included.Posted to " ZAZZ " on 3/25/15. " Keep Smiling :)"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

In a medium size bowl combine flour,sugar,salt,and baking soda.

Step 3

In a medium size saucepan over medium heat melt unsweetened chocolate,margarine, and water.

Step 4

Remove heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add egg,vanilla,and yogurt then mix well.

Step 6

Then add flour,a small amount at a time and stir with a spoon until well blended.

Step 7

Pour into a greased and floured 8 x 8 inch pan.

Step 8

With mixer,mix cream cheese,sugar,and egg until well blended.

Step 9

Pour cream cheese mixture on top of brownie batter then with a knife,swirl until you get a marble effect.

Step 10

Sprinkle top with chocolate chips.(add more chips if you like)

Step 11

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 12

Cool for at least 2 hours,cut into 12 squares.
