  • When selecting the cream, make sure to use single pouring cream for the best texture and flavour.
  • To ensure the walnuts are finely chopped, use a food processor or a sharp knife.

  • Replace the cream with coconut milk - Coconut milk is a great dairy-free alternative to cream that still gives a creamy texture to the French toast. It is also a healthier option that is lower in fat and calories.
  • Replace the walnuts with almonds - Almonds are higher in protein and fiber than walnuts and are also a great source of healthy fats. They also provide a slightly different flavor and texture to the French toast that can be a nice change of pace.

Chocolate & Coconut Brioche French Toast Replace the walnuts with finely chopped coconut and add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the egg and cream mixture. Top with grated dark chocolate and serve with a drizzle of honey instead of maple syrup.

Baked Apples with Cinnamon and Raisins - This warm and comforting side dish is the perfect accompaniment to the Maple & Walnut Brioche French Toast. It adds a hint of sweetness and brings out the flavors of the cinnamon and nutmeg. The raisins add a chewy texture and the apples provide a nice crunch.

Buttermilk Pancakes with Blueberry Compote: Buttermilk pancakes are a classic breakfast dish that pairs perfectly with the Maple & Walnut Brioche French Toast. The tangy buttermilk flavor is complemented by the sweet and tart blueberry compote, making for a delicious combination. The blueberries provide a burst of flavor and the compote adds a rich depth of flavor.
