"There has seldom been a time in my life when a Mason jar of this sauce wasn't in a corner of my mother's or grandmother's refrigerator. The truth of the matter is, once you've had homemade you will go off the store-bought for good. Adapted from Chef Virginia Willis' cookbook, "Bon Appetit, Y'All"."

I don't know if you had me at the mention of your mom, grandmother or Mason jar; this stuff is awesome! I had to halve it but it came out perfect and I sped it along by using the microwave. I made oven BBQ chicken and got rave reviews. This is a keeper for our house! Thank you for sharing.
