Step by Step Method
Step 1
Boil carrots in water just to cover with salt & sugar until tender crisp.
Step 2
Saute onions in butter until opaque.
Step 3
Add cooked carrots to the onions with the 1/2 cup reserved water.
Step 4
Add apples to the mixture.
Step 5
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Turn into serving dish.
Step 7
Add fresh pepper and lemon juice to taste.
Step 8
Place a slice of fresh lemon in the center as a garnish.
