"This is from the cookbook Mom gave me when we first got married, but it fell apart and I can't remember the name of it now. Anyway, this is a quick appetizer to make for a party. Tastes best made the day before and reheated. For Christmas, I usually make them way ahead and freeze. Then thaw and put in crock pot. NOTE: Lit'l Smokies sausages not included in Nutritional Facts"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In large pan over medium heat, cook first four ingredients, stirring, until cranberry sauce melts and becomes smooth. Add weiners and cook through.
Step 2
Mix cornstarch with just enough cold water to dissolve and mix until smooth. Add to pot and heat to boiling. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Step 3
Keep in crockpot on low for serving.
