"I can't remember where I first read this recipe.. I know it was from another recipe site. I am not trying to steal it I just want to pass it on because it is so darn good. I love butter on corn BUT if you want it just a bit lighter this is for you! Instead of hot sauve I love to use Cajun, Tex-Mex or other peppy spice mix in the mayo."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Soak your cleaned corn cobs in ice water for a couple of hours (Optional but worth it)

Step 2

Get a pan of water really boiling with enough water to cover the cobs

Step 3

Place cobs in the boiling water, boil corn for 10 minutes, no more.

Step 4

Meanwhile mix your mayo with the hot spice

Step 5

Remove corn from water, drain well. paint the cobs with the mayo mix

Step 6

Enjoy

Well zippity do dah! This corn has a little zip that we love. The lil guy ate his plain with parm cheese but me and my hubby indulged and had 2 ears each! I just adjusted the recipe and I used regular mayo instead of the light and Frank's Red Hot for the hot sauce.
