Step by Step Method

Step 1

Boil linguine according to package directions. (Prep time includes 15 minutes for this).

Step 2

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

Add red pepper, and cook 2 minutes.

Add garlic; saute 30 seconds or until garlic is lightly browned.

This was a wonderful side dish for our chicken tonight. Flavorful, easy to prepare and the kids asked for the leftovers to be sent to school tomorrow for lunch (the ultimate compliment from them). I used whole wheat linguine.

We enjoyed this dish...but thought it was a bit on the dry side...it would benefit from a bit more moisture...like a touch of butter or even a bit of pasta water...but the flavor was totally garlic and red pepper oil...served it with an Asian pork tenderloin #1618 and a sugar snap pea side dish #14864 for an amazing meal...made for "Only the Lonely" tag game...
