"I love making this pizza, which started out as an experiment, and quickly became a favorite in my house. If you like Mexican, you will LOVE this tasty pizza! This pizza is a little on the hot side, so adjust the jalapenos and juice accordingly. If you don't like real hot, use the Pepperocini peppers and juice instead of the Jalapenos. It gives it a nice zip, but no where near as hot as the jalapenos. "

  • For a milder flavor, try using pepperoncini peppers and juice instead of jalapenos.
  • If using store bought pizza crust, ensure it is 12 inches in diameter.

  • Substitute the jalapeno juice for lime juice - The benefit of this substitution is that it will give the pizza a more zesty flavor without making it too spicy. The thinking behind this substitution is that the lime juice will offer a more subtle flavor and will be better balanced with the other ingredients.
  • Substitute the Mozzarella cheese for feta cheese - The benefit of this substitution is that it will give the pizza a more unique flavor. The thinking behind this substitution is that the feta cheese will add a salty and tangy flavor that will complement the other ingredients.

Vegetarian Mexican Pizza Replace the jalapeno juice with vegetable broth. Use vegetables such as bell peppers, mushrooms, and corn as toppings instead of jalapenos and black olives. Use vegan cheese or no cheese. Bake at 425 degrees F, for 15-20 minutes.

Vegetarian Mediterranean Pizza Replace the jalapeno juice with olive oil. Use vegetables such as tomatoes, artichokes, olives, and spinach as toppings. Use vegan cheese or no cheese. Bake at 425 degrees F, for 15-20 minutes.

Mexican Street Corn Salad: This delicious side dish is the perfect accompaniment to Linda's Mexican Pizza. It's made with sweet corn, creamy mayonnaise, tangy lime juice, and a sprinkle of chili powder and cotija cheese. It adds a creamy, flavorful contrast to the spicy pizza, and the colors look great together!

Chorizo and Potato Tacos: These flavorful tacos are the perfect accompaniment to Linda's Mexican Pizza. The chorizo is spiced with cumin, smoked paprika, and garlic, and the potatoes are cooked until they are crispy and golden. The tacos are topped with a tangy salsa and a sprinkle of cilantro, adding a bright, fresh flavor that pairs beautifully with the pizza.

Love the texture of the pizza dough. Very easy to work with too. I opted to use pepperoncini peppers for the wimpy heat fearing members of my family. They loved it using those peppers!

This is a great tasting pizza. I made this using 4 pita breads instead of using pizza dough and cooked these in a 425 degree oven for 5 minutes then broiled them for 3 minutes. These turned out perfectly!! Made for the Pick Me! Recipe Tag Game.
