"This is the best dip I have ever tried for a fresh fruit dip. It goes great with strawberries, pineapple and melons. I look forward to trying it with chocolate pudding instead of the vanilla, as I know it will be great with strawberries and pineapple. I might try some grapes next time I make it!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Spoon out the sour cream into a large bowl.

Step 2

Add pudding mixes, and mix together well. If sour cream is really thick add milk or cream to thin out just a little. (This is a rather thick dip that you spread on to your fruit,), so don't thin it out too much. Spoon into a serving dish and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Step 3

Hull the strawberries, slice the outer skin on your pineapple, and peel the skin of your cantaloupe. Cut up the fruit according to directions above. Store in a serving dish, and keep chilled in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Fabulous tasting dip for fruit! For fruit I used grapes, fresh pineapple and cantaloupe. Great choice for my party!

It's amazing that only a few ingredients make such a delicious dip! I wanted to have a fruit salad but decided to go with fruit and dip after seeing this recipe. I doubled it because I knew the kids would LOVE this and I was right! I used cut up strawberries, fresh pineapple and green and purple grapes. It looked so pretty with the fruit displayed around the dip on my holiday buffet!

With all the fresh fruit available right now I decided to make this dip and everyone dipped till their hearts were content. How can something so simple to make taste this good. It's beyond me, but I am so happy to have it to make for my parties! I used grapes, watermelon, pineapple, melons and strawberries.

I brought this to a pot-luck dinner and it disappeared in no time. The dip is really nice and light tasting. This was a big hit with the kids. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game. I made this again May 2nd for a baby shower. I made one batch using vanilla pudding mix and 1 batch using chocolate pudding mix. Both were a hit!!
