"this has flour in the batter which makes a hearty breakfast for the field hands in nebraska in the 40's-60's this is my friends rudys czech mama's recipeHas flour, milk, eggs, and butter. Very old recipe. This recipe does not have cinnamon or nutmeg but you could add it if you like. I have made this and it is heartier than regular French toast and is great with butter, syrup, and ham slices. Mr. picky ate it and said it tasted just like his Mom's, yipeee. It will look frothy when you fold in egg whites; just dip the bread in; it is oka"
