"This recipe isn't too spicy....just has a mild heat. Quick because you use pre-cooked brown rice."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat the oil in a large skillet over high. Add the pork and cook for 5 minutes or until browned, stirring to crumble.

Step 2

Add the white onion, 1/4 cup green onions, and garlic; cook 4 more minutes.

Step 3

Add 1/3 cup water and cook 1 minute, scraping the pan to loosen the browned bits. Remove from heat; stir in the remaining 1/2 cup green onions, gochujang, soy sauce, and brown sugar.

Step 4

Heat the rice according to the package directions.

Step 5

Place 1/2 cup pork mixture and 3/4 cup rice in each of 4 bowls. Top with cilantro, vinegar, and lime wedge.

This is so easy to prepare and it's packed full of flavor...it is spicy but not anything really hot...next time I'm going to increase the gochujhang sauce...I accidentally added the cilantro and vinegar into the meat mixture instead of on top...I served it over white rice...I didn't have a lime so I squinted a touch of lime juice on the meat...made for "Only the Lonely" tag game...
