Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pour the whisky into a heatproof glass with the sugar (you may need more or less sugar, depending on your taste).

Step 2

Pour in the coffee and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour the cream in slowly over the back of a spoon which is barely touching the top of the coffee and edge of glass. Keep pouring until all the cream is added and has settled on top of the coffee.

Step 3

DO NOT STIR -- drink the coffee through the cream.
