This is so good and easy too! We skipped the nuts but otherwise made as directed. Everyone enjoyed this some added whipped cream and others ate it plain -- wonderful either way. Thanks for sharing!

I wish I could give this 10 stars. It's that good. And SO easy. It's a cross between a pie and a crisp. If you expect a crust like a regular pie, you'll be disappointed. But if you want a little bit of a crust under your crisp, you have to try this. I used a regular pie plate, not a deep dish, and it barely fit. But I loved the heaped results and cooked it on a baking pan in case it bubbled over (which it didn't). I followed the recipe exactly other than using a different brand of baking mix (Jiffy). Good enough for company!
