Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade.

Step 2

Process until well mixed. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. (I keep it in the fridge).

I loved making my own "Bisquick" and chose this particular recipe over others on the internet because this one contained powdered buttermilk which you just can't go wrong when using. I also used butter-flavored shortening because that's what I had. This is definitely a keeper and one I will use in a heartbeat. Thank you, Mikekey for sharing. Made it for PickMe Tag.

I made up a batch to use for dumplings and also a coffee cake. I love this mix! Will keep it on hand as we love biscuits and muffins and this is a good base.

This stuff is absolutely awesome it works like a dream ive made several of my bisquick recipes with it already thanks mike for posting it here too. This should be in everyones cook book .i used powdered milk and then vinegar in my recipes.
