Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 546 grams apples (3 large all-purpose apples, Gala, Jazz, Granny Smith etc. peeled and thinly sliced, 3 cups)
  • 60 grams Bisquick Baking Mix (Original Bisquick, 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • FOR STREUSEL TOPPING
  • 60 grams Bisquick Baking Mix ( Original Bisquick, 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons butter ( firm)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F. Grease pie plate, 9 X 1 1/4 inches. Spread apples in pie plate.

  • Step 2: In separate bowl, stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over apples.

  • Step 3: To make Streusel Topping, mix Bisquick, nuts and brown sugar. Cut in butter, using fork or pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apple mixture.

  • Step 4: Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 45 minutes.
