How to Broil Lobster Tail

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Line a grill/broiler pan with foil pressing it into the groves of the pan.
Step 2
Cut a line down the centre of the top of shell (not the underside of the shell), stopping just before the tail fins.
Step 3
Pull shell part leaving it intact, and gently pull lobster meat out, cradling it on top the now opened shell.
Step 4
Using a sharp knife, made a small slit down the top of the meat and spread out by running your finger through the lobster meat.
Step 5
Fill crevice with butter, then sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper and paprika.
Step 6
Grill/Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for approximately 1 minute per ounce (eg a 4 ounce tail would take about 4 minutes), watch it carefully.
