Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the softened butter and hot chili oil. Microwave for a few seconds until the butter is melted. Stir to combine the oil and butter.

Heat a skillet or non-stick pan over medium-low heat.

Brush one side of each slice of bread with the hot chili oil and melted butter mixture.

Place one slice of bread, oil-side down, on the heated skillet or pan.

Very good grilled cheese and so easy to bring make a simple grilled cheese sandwich more interesting and flavorful. I used less chili oil than indicated but even a tiny bit makes a difference. Thanks for sharing!
