Step by Step Method

Step 1

Brown bones slowly in a heavy pot.

Step 2

Add remaining ingredients, cover with water and simmer, covered, for several hours.

Step 3

Strain broth and cool.

Step 4

Skim fat off top of stock.

Step 5

Freeze for future use.

The perfect recipe for the meaty beef bones in our freezer! The end result was great tasting beef broth which made for a great tasting beef and vegetable soup, freezing the remaining broth for future use.
