"This spicy belly warming soup is tasty and filling. It has just the right amount of heat for my liking. For gluten free, use GF sausage and broth."

This soup was so wonderful I wish I had more than 5 stars to award. I used ground turkey seasoned with Penzey's italian sausage seasoning and 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds, Rotel tomatoes, and cooked in a crockpot. The house smelled wonderful so we were really looking forward to trying the soup. We weren't disappointed. The soup is hearty, full of good chunky goodness, and swoon worthy if you like veggies and sausage. Loved the turnips! Yum! I know this will be made often this year. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
