Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place the prepared okra in a bowl sprinkle with salt, pour in the ice cold water and place in refrigerater for at least an hour
Step 2
Drain well, place in a zip lock bag
Step 3
Mix crumbs and potato flakes, pour into the zip lock bag with the okra, shake well
Step 4
Spray a skillet with vegetable oil add okra and fry over medium heat until golden. Season with pepper
