  • 2 tablesoons salt
  • 4 cups ice cold water
  • 1/2 cups mashed potato flakes
  • 1/2 cup panko crumbs
  • Pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the prepared okra in a bowl sprinkle with salt, pour in the ice cold water and place in refrigerater for at least an hour

  • Step 2: Drain well, place in a zip lock bag

  • Step 3: Mix crumbs and potato flakes, pour into the zip lock bag with the okra, shake well

  • Step 4: Spray a skillet with vegetable oil add okra and fry over medium heat until golden. Season with pepper
