" I call this Beef Hamburger Struggleoff because it is not really beef stroganoff but I guarantee it is darn tasty. I put Cottage cheese in the recipe but that is because I always have cottage cheese in the house and it works so well in any recipe that calls for sour cream. You use whatever you wish Cottage cheese or Sour cream. This is a quick and easy recipe that I think you will love. I like toadd several dropsof hot sauce - but I love spice!"

Step 1

Lightly spray a large skillet with oil

Step 2

Add the raw burger meat and onion, cook over medium high heat until the burger is starting to look brown and cooked

Step 3

Add the mushrooms and garlic. continue to cook for about 6 minutes, stir it like stir fry.

Step 4

Add the mushroom soup and cottage cheese (sour cream) mix in well

Step 5

Simmer for a few minutes longer. Serve over pasta.
