Step 1

Whisk chile, garlic, pepper, lime juice, and 2 tablespoons oil in a large bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat; season with salt. Thread shrimp onto sets of 2 skewers.

Step 2

Prepare a grill for medium-high heat; clean grates well then oil. Grill shrimp, tuning once, until cooked through and lightly charred, about 5 minutes total. Serve with lime wedges dipped in chili powder.

We loved these shrimps! I didn't have a red chile pepper, so I smashed part of a poblano pepper and then sprinkled some paprika and Tajin seasoning. Served it with mango salsa.

These were delicious. I made them for our first barbecue of the year on Memorial Day and they were gone before I knew it. They were really enjoyed and I will be making them again soon!
