The ingredients are:
  • 116 grams Grape Nuts Cereal (1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, soft
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole.

  • Step 2: Soak grapenuts in hot water for a short while so grapenuts are soaked (drain any excess).

  • Step 3: Put into the casserole; mix the butter, milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla and add to the grapenuts; mix well.

  • Step 4: Bake in a pan of water in a 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes depending on your oven; before taking out be sure it is firm in the middle.
