Step 1: Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Step 2: Soak grapenuts in hot water for a short while so grapenuts are soaked (drain any excess).
Step 3: Put into the casserole; mix the butter, milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla and add to the grapenuts; mix well.
Step 4: Bake in a pan of water in a 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes depending on your oven; before taking out be sure it is firm in the middle.
