Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients together in a big enough bowl to hold everything.

Step 2

Cover and put in the fridge for a couple of hours to let the dried onions rehydrate.

Step 3

Spark the BBQ on high.

Step 4

In the meantime, make three patties with the meat, about 1/2 an inch thick.

Step 5

Place on the grill and close the cover. Cook for 3 minutes on one side, flip and cook for another 3 minutes.

Step 6

Move the patties to the top rack of BBQ.

Step 7

Heat your buns on the hot grill until nice and crispy.

Step 8

Place patties on buns and top with your favorite stuff.

This is my husbands favorite burger recipe. We have enjoyed this many times. It is so easy to prepare, and with ingredients we always have on hand. The pepper really is the star of this recipe.
