Drain sauerkraut in a sieve over a bowl. Measure ½ cup of liquid and reserve.
Step 2
Put the drained sauerkraut into a large bowl.

Mix in sugar.
Step 4
Let sit about 15 minutes.
Step 5
Add ½ cup reserved sauerkraut liquid and oil.
Step 6
Add rest of ingredients and put in fridge overnight
