Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2

Mix together sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves.

Step 3

Stir in oil, eggs, vanilla.

Step 4

Fold in apples, nuts and raisins (if using). Batter will be very thick.

Step 5

Pour into greased bundt pan.

Step 6

Bake at 350 degrees for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 7

Cool cake before removing from pan; serve as is or top with Caramel Glaze.
