Fresh Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2: Mix together sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves.

Step 3: Stir in oil, eggs, vanilla.

Step 4: Fold in apples, nuts and raisins (if using). Batter will be very thick.

Step 5: Pour into greased bundt pan.

Step 6: Bake at 350 degrees for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 7: Cool cake before removing from pan; serve as is or top with Caramel Glaze.
