Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain saving 1/2 cup water.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large saucepan and cook onion until lightly browned, season lightly.
Step 3
Add garlic, tomatoes, pasta water and 1 tablespoon basil and cook over low heat for 15 minutes until tomatoes soften.
Step 4
Add seasoning, parsley and bouillon.
Step 5
Mix until combined and cook a couple more minutes.
Step 6
Serve cooked fusilli pasta with sauce.
Step 7
Garnish with Parmesan cheese and additional basil leaves.
