"Let's go back to simpler times and tastes. This old fashioned meatloaf is by Fanny Farmer from The Boston Cooking School Cookbook. Basic and easy with great taste. Sometimes back to basics is all you need! *Note - I didn't use a loaf pan. I used a 9x13" pan and just formed it into the middle of the pan. I baked it for about 65-70 minutes."

Scaled this back and baked in a small loaf pan. I was impressed that it sliced so well giving me lovely slices for sandwiches. Next time around will use my Farmer's catsup topping. There will be a next time.

Simple flavors that tastes so good. We loved this meatloaf. The only thing I did different was use Memphis barbecue sauce from Aldi's for the topping. Mmmmm good!
