Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large frying pan, heat the oil.

Add bratwurst and brown, turning occasionally, add red pepper; cook, stirring 1 minute.

Stir in sauerkraut and continue cooking 1 minute.

Add wine and caraway seeds.

Cover pan tightly, reduce heat and cook over low heat for 30 minutes, making sure it doesn't boil dry.

Toast buttered French rolls.

Place bratwurst in each roll and top with equal portion of sauerkraut mixture.
