"This has been a staple in our home for years, I prefer to use the spicy sausage but mild will work great too and will also work using ground beef although the sausage is much better to use, and for a creamier taste use half light cream and milk or use all light cream…use this gravy on biscuits, french fries, Texas toast, mashed potatoes or anything you like…if your a garlic lover like me add in 3 minced garlic cloves to the sausage mixture, I most always do, amounts may be doubled"

I used hot sausage and we loved the spiciness which gave the gravy a great flavor. I made it and had it over biscuits for breakfast. We are sure to have these again for another very satisfying and yummy breakfast!
