Step 1

Line a large baking sheet with parchment.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. I use convection.

Step 3

Melt butter, add to brownie mix along with egg whites.

Step 4

Turn mixture out onto parchment, spread evenly to about 1/4 inch. (This is the tricky part because the mixture is thick.)

Step 5

Sprinkle chocolate chips and press in with your hands.

Step 6

Bake until done, 30 minutes or so.

Step 7

Turn oven off, leaving baking sheet in the oven with the door closed for another 20 minutes or so until brownies are completely dry.

Step 8

Immediately upon removing from oven, slice with pizza cutter. That will make the pieces easy to break apart once cooled.
