"This Maltese classic couldn't be easier. You can pick up ground almonds (meal/flour) in most grocery stores now. Enjoy!."
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients (except the whole almonds) until well combined.
Form into small balls with your hands, and put them on a greased or lined cookie sheet.
Flatten each ball with your thumb and place a whole, blanched almond on top of each.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Enjoy!
