"This is from Eagle Brand. I used Golden Delicious apples and walnuts with good results. I liked the pie warm so you may want to time the baking time to remove out of the oven 15 minutes or so before serving it for a dessert"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Step 2
Toss apples with lemon juice. Arrange into prepared pastry shell.
Step 3
In a medium bowl beat eggs. Strir in condensed milk 1/4 cup melted butter, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well. Pour over apples.
Step 4
In a small bowl combine brown sugar and flour. Mis in 2 tablespoon cold butter cubes until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts and sprinkle over top of the pie.
Step 5
Bake (425 degrees) for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees and continue baking for about 40 minutes more or until golden brown and setg in the center.
Step 6
Serve warm or chilled. Refrigerate any leftovers
