"This isn't the normal fruit cake. It almost has a sugar cookie taste to it with spiced fruit. Delicious. The only fruitcake I eat! This recipe makes 4 loaves. Freezes well."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line bottoms of four greased 9x5 loaf pans with greased parchment paper.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine candied fruit, raisins, walnuts, add 1/2 cup flour and toss to coat.
Step 3
In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time until well combined.
Step 4
Gradually beat in remaining flour. Fold in flour mixture.
Step 5
Transfer to prepared pans, bake 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 6
Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to wire racks.
