  • 1 1/2 cups golden raisins
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (toasted)
  • 3 cups all purpose flour (divided)
  • 2 cups butter (softened)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line bottoms of four greased 9x5 loaf pans with greased parchment paper.

  • Step 2: In a small bowl, combine candied fruit, raisins, walnuts, add 1/2 cup flour and toss to coat.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time until well combined.

  • Step 4: Gradually beat in remaining flour. Fold in flour mixture.

  • Step 5: Transfer to prepared pans, bake 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Step 6: Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to wire racks.
