Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Butter a deep dish pie pan (9 inches or so).
Step 3
Toss the first 7 ingredients (apples - cinnamon) in a bowl and put into prepared pan. Sprinkle the pecans over.
Step 4
To make the topping: blend all ingredients together until crumbly (this can be done by hand using two knives or in a food processor) and sprinkle over the apples.
Step 5
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
