Step by Step Method

Step 1

Add potatoes and green beans to large stock pot with water, and seasoning to taste.

Step 2

Cook 30 minutes.

Step 3

Mix milk and seasonings, making sure to rinse out can with water adding it to pot.

Step 4

Simmer 20 minutes more.

Step 5

Mix flour in sour cream and add to soup. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened. Don't boil at this point.

Step 6

Season to taste.
