Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook the green beans for 10 minutes in boiling water

Step 2

Meanwhile in large skillet brown the bacon. Take out and reserve 2 tablespoons grease then add olive oil

Step 3

And saute onions and garlic

Step 4

Add ham. Brown lightly

Step 5

Drain green beans. Add green beans to skillet and cook a few minutes

Step 6

Take off heat and add cilantro and lime juice

Step 7

Add crumbled bacon. Toss season

This was an interesting side dish that made quite a bit! I steamed the green beans in the microwave, then made as directed. Very tasty! Made by a Feed Bag for Susie’s World Tour 2019.
