Step 1

Place deer roast in crock pot.

Step 2

Cover with onions and mushrooms.

Step 3

Sprinkle garlic salt, garlic powder,black pepper, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce over deer roast in crock pot.

Step 4

Spread cream of mushroom soup evenly over deer roast in crock pot.

Step 5

Cook venison roast on low setting for 6 hours.

I scaled the recipe down to 2 servings but still used the 8 ounces of mushrooms and the full can of mushroom soup so we could drizzle this over mashed potatoes. I used 1" venison cubes and they turned out fork tender and had no wild taste which made hubby very happy. He said he wouldn't change a thing so that is good in my books!!
