Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook bacon until crisp, remove from skillet and reserve drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside.
Step 2
In skillet, add onione and green pepper to 3 tablespoons drippings. Cook until tender.
Step 3
Blend in flour, brown sugar, worcestershire and seasonings.
Step 4
Add tomatoes and cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Step 5
Add beans and heat thoroughly. Place in serving bowl and top with crumbled bacon.
