Creamy Skillet Noodles With Peas
"I was looking in my TOH 2016 Quick Cooking Annual Recipes and found this very simple recipe. It was sent into them by Anita Groff from Perkiomenville,PA. Even though there was just my SO and myself, I decided to make the full recipe(you know me,I love leftovers). If you like it creamier than what the recipe makes, I would suggest adding about 1/4 cup more half and half.If you would like to make this a one dish meal add some cubed up leftover chicken. Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large skillet over medium heat add oil and butter stir until butter is melted.
Step 2
Add pasta,and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly browned.
Step 3
Stir in the peas,broth,half and half cream,salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Bring to a boil,then cover and reduce heat to simmer.
Step 5
Cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until noodles are tender stir occasionally.
