The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed (I used margarine)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola oil)
  • 5 cups egg noodles (uncooked fine egg noodles, I used 4 cups of Fideo noodles)
  • 1 package (10 ounce) frozen green peas (2 1/2 cups)
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth (I used an extra 1/2 cup.)
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper, or to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat add oil and butter stir until butter is melted.

  • Step 2: Add pasta,and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly browned.

  • Step 3: Stir in the peas,broth,half and half cream,salt, and pepper.

  • Step 4: Bring to a boil,then cover and reduce heat to simmer.

  • Step 5: Cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until noodles are tender stir occasionally.
